Jean Geddes School of Dance & Stage

​The dance school that offers a complete dancing education for young dancers age 2-21 years of age.

 

The school teaches various types of theatrical dance, i.e. Street Dance, Tap, Ballet, Modern Stage, National, Character, Greek, Song & Dance.

 

Examinations are taken in three genres (Tap, Ballet and Modern Stage) from infant to teaching qualifications 

 

we perform a show every year and all children are able to take part.


Children wishing to take part in Festivals are also catered for, they receive private tuition in order to learn the special dances needed .

All staff are fully qualified and we take National Association of Teachers of Dancing Ltd. examinations.

​

Many ex-pupils are either dancing or acting professionally in various productions worldwide, whilst others have become highly respected teachers. 

We have had many winners in the Theatrical Scholarships held by The N.A.T.D and Theatre Dance Council International and a runner-up in the I. D. T. A." Miss Dance Award".

Classes for (Children from 3 years to 5 1/2 years old) are held at the Fuse Partington every Saturday morning, the classes are at 9.00 am until 9.45 am where children are taught Ballet and Tap technique. 

Fees range from £4.00 depending on the classes taken.

Juniors - age 6 years and above are from 10 am onward and are approx. £9+ for all 4 classes.

​

Lessons are charged on a weekly basis, so you are not required to pay for a 6 or 12 week term in advance.

The fees are exceptionally reasonable and by charging weekly it makes it affordable for everyone.
